So we decided to make a snowsmurf today.

I had to make the body a little bigger than normal because otherwise the weight of the head would have make it fall apart. :D

Those are beautiful pictures, Andre.

Love the snowsmurf :smitten:

How long did it take to build it?

I only built one snowman as a teenager in Switzerland...if you can call it a snowman as it was even smaller than I am :???:

Maybe half an hour or so.

But the snow was so wet and heavy so it wanted to fall apart all the time.

One ear fell off so I had to make them smaller otherwise I wanted to make the smurf just like the UNICEF-smurf. But it wasn´t that easy. :)

Now the temperature is 5 degrees below zero so it is a shame that it couldn´t have kept the head for a couple of hours longer. Then it would probably had been frozen and I could have watched it all week. :(

Earlier this week my wife and Ally made a Giraff of the snow. Let´s hope it will be more opportunities this winter for snowmen and figures. :-D

That's a great smurf André!! :D

Pitty he lost his head, maybe you can rebuild it now that it's colder? Or make a new one? ;)

Never made me a snowman, most I got close was a tinny dog head and torso (the head could could fit in my hand. :lol2: )
