The last I heard was that the movie will be released around Christmas 2010..so time enough to keep changing the release date

yeah, looks like an old article, nothing new
I really hope that we get a sneak peek of the animation in 2009! I really want to see what the smurfs will look like in 3D. Hopefully we'll get a small teaser/trailer and a look at the new smurfettes! I wonder when they'll unveil these smurfettes?
