That guy living in that house may be all "Hey, look at my great lights" but I sure as hell bet he doesn't have a little christmas smurf display in his kitchen!

There. I said it. :D

That's amazing to look at but I wouldn't want his electricity bill!

That is what I was thinking too Hilary, I know how our bill goes up with the few things we put up.

Should I bring him one this year? :-D He has tons of characters in the yard too and I think a smurf would really fit in :D

Right! Very nice Dom, so while I go to Germany , you`ll come to Utrecht, Enschede and Venlo :))

Hi Lia,

since I love going to the Netherlands, it would be great, if we could meet each other someday. :D

I received one of those corner display thingies today, like the one that Lia picked up in Germany. I really like it.

It only cost me 1 euro + postage so I was quite happy with that

That is great news, Tojo.

Is that the large paper shop display? :-?

I was able to find the table top seller box display but not the large one.

It's the one that Lia got (she posted a picture) that stands in the corner of the large display.

I am probably totally crazy but I just made the my last smurf purchase of this year (yeah, what ever :?: ) and bought the special birthday smurf on ebay :-D It comes with the BZP so I hope it's a genuine one (I have made other purchases from the seller before and trust her to be an honest one for Kinder egg items).

However, when I looked at the picture, I couldn't help but wonder how easy it would be to paint the present in that color and therefore how easy it is to fake this smurf :o

Does anybody already have this smurf in their hands to see if the only difference between this one and the "cheaper" present is the color? :-?

Sorry, I'd love one but it's a teeny bit too expensive for me at the moment & it doesn't look like they'll be getting any cheaper either.....

does anyone know anything about those smurfs I am posting? I found them on ebay... they are similar to those kinder ones, but if you look better they have some differences, like the feet of each ones and their eyes... they say they are by Schleich, but I can't say surely for I do not have them for I was not in time to win the auction... does anyone know anything, please? they are simply LOVELY, aren't they? :)

Hi Psiko,
they are fakes from HongKong and not licensed by Schleich

Here is more information about them

http://www.forum.bluecavern.com/viewtopic.php?t=11597

They are lovely though and as long as the prices don't rise and you are aware they are fakes, they are worth having :D

thank you for your answer :) yes, I will buy them all the same even if they are fakes.. it's a pity, though, I was thinking they were a nice official release :) :)

Postby bwalters » Sat Dec 27, 2008 6:42 am
Hi Psiko; The Chinese also have several other fakes out there too. 50th anniversary, Holloween (monsters) set, American indian set, And a set they call sports set it is really the Mcdonnalds Smurfs. I don't have the Easter set they put out but I have heard about them. And I am reasonably sure there are more out there. The one's that I have are pretty well done, but you can tell the diffrence. Here is a link to more about the fakes.

Has anyone seen the new Kinder surprises in France or Greece?
I was told they would have been released in Italy too, but I haven't seen anything yet.
