Yipee!!! I tried our TEGUT store today & they had smurfy eggs!!!

I bought 12 eggs & got 3 smurfs out of them so now I'm nearer to completing my 2nd set :D Sadly I didn't get the special figure though :???:

More great news - I was at Aldi today, which is a discount supermarket. They sell surprise eggs in 3-packs & they've just got the news smurfy ones in :D

There's no guarantee there is a smurf in one of the eggs (unlike the 6-packs) but I bought a few packs more for the packaging than for the eggs :)

I also picked up one of the brilliant card palettes that the boxes are displayed / transported in.

I'll take some photos tomorrow when the light is better as it's pretty dimpsy now

@Tojo: Could you tell me whether it was at Aldi North (white and blue writing) or Aldi South (yellow and white writing). I'm still missing some figures and I'd love to complete at least one set until the end of November.

They were at Aldi Süd Dominique.

Ooh I wonder if Aldi over here will have them? I have to go past one tomorrow as I'm off to the dentist :( so I'll see if we can stop. :-D

That would be interesting to know whether Aldi in other countries carrys the eggs too.

It's funny, but although they say there's one figure in every 7 eggs, so far I've been getting a figure in about every 4 or 5 eggs. I still haven't found the birthday smurf yet though.... :???:

Anyway here are the pictures that I took, not great but then my name isn't David Bailey.....

Wow thanks for sharing those awesome pics, Tojo. :D Btw. since I had asked at my nearby "Rewe" supermarket for some promo stuff a couple of weeks ago, the owner decided to give me a huge Paper display, which carried the eggs, so that my mum had to pick up for me, before I left home that morning. Needless to mention that she fainted. But she's a great mum, since she bought me some cute smurf candies at Lidl the day before without showing that she doesn't fancy smurfs at all. :-D

Nice photo's Tojo,
I don't think our Aldi's will carry any eggs because we are not allowed to import these things because they are a health risk :banghead: survival of the fittest folks that's all I have to say :x

Will do, Ladies. Btw. it is not the kind of display which most surprise eggs collectors would prefer. Yet I love it. :D

This afternoon, I went shopping in Germany ( love that!!)
There`s a fantastic supermarket in Leer, called the Multi, only 45 minutes by car from my house and there were many christmas things for sale already. In Holland, we first celebrate Sinterklaas on december the 5th and then the christmas things will start.
So funny that they had a chocolate Santa with a badge from Bayern München (or other footballclubs) :)

I found the surprise eggs and I got a big paper promo.

Well done on getting the display Lia. I've seen those here but haven't been able to ask in the shops whether I can have one.

I'm too shy :) :)

Hi
Gerda
Is that like the german St. Nikolaus on the 6th?
Yes it is. ;-)

They made all the chocolate things for both celebrations.
(and sometimes for three, Eastern isn't that far )

I still celebrate St nilolaus, just something about it that I can't give up and of course the kids love any day where they get a little extra treat :)

Around here all the christmas stuff is out already, started to show up even before Halloween this year, I'd complain but I love christmas so if they had it out all year long I would be happy. One more week to go and I even can get a tree :-D :-D
