I asked this question in MV fourm a few years back but I still feel that I am right. On you windsurfer smurf on the sail it says S71 Or is it ILS I love Smurfs. just printed upside down. What do you think All I got the first time was S71. Bill P.S. If it is S71 what does it stand for.

Sorry, no idea It doesn't stand for Smurfs 1971 as it wasn't released until 1980.

Maybe the designers just thought it looked good?

The reason I ask this. When I got it I tried for quite awhile to put the sail on upside down before I looked at the box. I tought it stood for I Love Smurfs and would be upside down the way it belongs. Bill

This sounds possible to me. S71 is for confusing, or they have
made a mistake when they print it they use the wrong side of
the printing plate.

Or it's like an "eastern egg" in a computer program.
When you find it you didn't know why it's there
and what it is good for.

Good One Ingo that gave me a good laugh. I only know I spent quite awhile trying to put the sail on upside down. It made no sense for it to be S71 and I LOVE SMURFS made all the sense in the world to me at least. Bill
