We know that this information is a little dated, but we wanted to share this with our new Smurfy friends.
Attached is a letter we wrote to Capt. Nancy Jane Sherlock, US Army.
She was part of Space Shuttle Mission STS 57, June of 1993, and is known as the “SMURF” because of her small stature.
She sent us a picture of her crew (also attached), an Official Press Release Handbook (which outlines the mission in detail) and a Cloth Mission Patch.
