Well I'm shattered! Not only was yesterday great fun if exhausting but I've just edited all the photos! :) Duckie and Denise are lovely, lovely people and I had a wonderful day! :-D They have quite a smurf collection too, not to mention Sylvesters and I wish now I'd taken pics of the Sylvesters and Tweety Pies too. :banghead: Never mind, there are loads of pics for you to see anyway. :)

After fish and chips we opened my birthday pressies. :-D It's my birthday next week in case I haven't mentioned it. :D The ladies gave me this lovely selection:

Then there was chatting and gossiping and ebaying and cheesecake and, of-course, the smurfy tour! :) I was impressed! You can see why:

Awesome collection, Duckie and Denise....it sounds like you three had a great time together. I wish I could take off in the middle of the day in the middle of the week :) :) I especially like Duckie's apron too....did she cook a smurfy meal, Hil? How many smurfs did you make off with? I'm sure they would never notice :winks: How far away do you all live from each other? Thanks for sharing too!!

Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

None of us work due to ill health so finding the time to meet up isn't a problem. Finding the money, on the other hand... :???:

She does a great fish and chips from the local take away and a great cheesecake from Sainsbury's! :-D
How many smurfs did you make off with? I'm sure they would never notice :winks:
I did make off with a couple of history smurfs but she wing slapped me till I paid for them. The feathers tickled! :)
How far away do you all live from each other? Thanks for sharing too!!
Not sure in miles/kms but it took about an hour to get into London by train (Liverpool Street) and then another 20 mins for the connecting train to Duckville. Not so far that we can't meet up again but not so close that we can do it every week. :( They're driving up to see me in a few weeks. :)

That would be awesome Steve! :) Duckie's Smurfy DVD hasn't arrived yet so we couldn't watch it yesterday. Not that we would have had time! :)

Glad you all enjoyed the pics folks. :-D Don't where Duckie is - I must have worn her out! :o

Hello everyone - I am back!!!! Unfortunately, I have had a bad migraine most of the day. Therefore, I have been out of action.......BUT, you can't keep a good smurfer down......so here I am!!! :-D

First of all, I would like to thank Hilary for posting all the pics of our collection - thanks, Hilary! I would like to add though that I am totally 'un-photogenic'!! :) The smurfs look good though! But, they always do!

Thank you for all your nice comments. :-D

Awww, I wish that weren't so but it is great that you all were able to get together - I think you could do it every two weeks then since it's not that far but too far for once a week :D
