This morning I went to Gent (after driving 115km) ...
and I found 1 Smurf.

When such events take place, you have to start looking at 7.00 in the morning, I fear. They start hiding them very, very early in the morning.
I was very lucky too, when I found one in Den Haag, because it was already midday.

I'm hoping that if they do come to Germany then that they come somewhere that I can get to. I mean Germany is a pretty huge country!!

I have a problem with that smurfette, and it only just hit me... I though she looked odd, but didn't gave much thought to it... but now I realise why she looks odd... why isn't she blue!?

It's in the newspaper on the day they put the smurfs around in the city.

A friend of me sended me a message after 7 o'clock and I had to drive about 30 min.... so can you count.... bit to late to send you all one of those lovely smurfs...

I CAN BUY THEM TOMMORROW if you want one, just let me know....
In the early morning if it's possible!

O well I had an amazing day....
After finding some smurfs, I was very lucky... a friend of Anne is from the press... he asked us to come with him to the pressconference of the smurfs...
This is once in a lifetime!!!!!
We were so lucky... not to much smurfs but a lot of new experiances...
The big smurf was sitll a surprise and covered with a dark blue blancket...
I was very very nervous...

They uncovered the smurfette at the end... I think more then 1000 pictures were taking from the press (with their special cameras, and we took pic with our GSM.... we forgot our camera at home so...

After all the pic someone asked us for a small interview... I said yes, and in exchanges we were able to kiss and hug the smurfette....
WOW what a day...

And they told us there will be a moneycoin in silver in the future and stamps in september... A new CD is now on the market and we can collect points in the newspaper for Dutch DVD's of the smurfs.

It's made of the same material of the small guys...white plastic.
She isn't that heavy at all....i think!

thanks, too bad she isn't small enough to run off with. these big smurfs look nice. I wonder what they will do with them once the tour is over sticking them into a smurf museum would be great

No they aren't for a museum...
At the end there will be a sale in a special place.... all the money will go to Unicef.....
