Its was my birthday on Monday (and no I didn't turn 50). The office sourced a muffin (smurf sized birthday cake) and then did the most traumatic thing. They drilled holes in an innocent smurf and stuck burning candles in him!!!

The smurfs was 20011 laughing smurf... apparently they performed all sorts of torture on other smurfs including setting them on fire melting them. I feel I aged a year just listening to it.

In their defence I do have a reputation of being a tad crazy. Last month I kidnapped the team mascot (a maniquin head) and demanded a ransom using cut out letters from the newspaper in a note demanding a fishfinger. The ransom wasn't paid and the head ended up in the fridge to the shock of the person making the coffee round. I am usually up to some mad scheme, I'm currrently telling the new employees we have a theme for casual dress Fridays and next weeks theme is to come dressed as a smurf. I guess I'll be the only one doing this but it should still get a laugh. So I guess they were just getting me back.

Staci: I work at a software development company in the medical sector. We all rark each other up on a regular basis.

The smurf is now recovering from his ordeal with a smurf sized cup of coffee. I am now thinking up ways of returning him to his former glory or improving on it.

sshh don't tell anyone but I'm actually a shade older than 8. The secret to my youthful beauty is all the radiation I absorb by being surrounded by three computer monitors.

Actually if other did dress like smurfs then I would have to try harder to be the maddest one in the office. Believe me thats a full time job
