HI,

The news has just reached me .... it would appear that Leblon Delienne (resin figurine) makes one figure for 2008, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Smurfs! ! ! :D

That sounds very interesting. :-D But could anyone explain to me, what a resin figure is, please? :?

I belive, but I'm not sure, that the Plastoy Smurfs are made of resin material. I never heard of Leblon Delienne so I don't know what kind of figurines they make and what the prices of their products are.

That sounds indeed very interesting, even if I didn't understand a word at first. :)

Resin figures are as my translator says "Kunstharz"-figures as we say in Germay...And that is the same as the Plastoy smurfs...So am I right that it will be similar to the Plastoys?

And Leblon Delienne is the designer of those? I informed abouzt him and found this page:

http://www.kilu-comicfiguren.de/comicfi ... lienne.php

And I had to see, that for example the Obelix with wild pigs costs 112 Euro...
So it could be very very expensive. I am looking towards to see a picture of the smurf...

By the way: Does that deal with Schleich or is it completly independent of it and we can still hope to see another 50 years celebrating smurf by Schleich?

Similiar but very different :) :) Plastoys are affordable (about $30-40US) while the Leblon figure is in the hundreds or thousands of dollars.

I may have to get one of these new figures somehow......wanna go halves with me Stace?

We can break it in half and I will let you have first choice of which half.....providing you don't choose the head

me too Rachel :)
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

Yes but I want the right half and you can have the left half as per our normal arrangement :winks: Of course, the head sounds good too :wicked:
