I hope everybody had a great Christmas and found some smurfs under the tree. I thought it might be a nice idea to have a thread where everybody that wants to can show off the smurfs they got this Christmas...It doesn't matter if you have a picture, if somebody else got them for you or if you got them for you yourself.... :D

Thanks to a Yankee friend I found some special and rare murfies under my tree last night...They are the Delawarian limited edition of Fishmade Porcelain smurfs :-D  and I also found an expandable funfolder under the tree.

I had a special gift from myself to myself as well...my BASF smurf arrived just in time for Christmas

Hi, Maureen!!!!!An excellent idea!!!!!!!You have got great new smurfs!!!!Congratulations for you and for your delawaren friend!!!!!!!!!!

The day when spanish children (and not so children) receive their presents is Three King´s Day, and it is 6th of january...So if you can wait...I will send my pics that day!!!!!!!!

PS: Somtimes in Spain, the word "yankee" is used to speak about all USA citizens...Is that strictly right??? :-? :-?

Hi Joaquin,
Yankee is usually used in the South to describe the people from the Northern States :D

Great smurfs you have there! :-D :-D

I still haven't got the pic of my new smurfs, but I'm 99,99% sure that classic papa and classic grouchy are among the batch. :)

Lovely to see and hear about everyone's presents, Santa has been very kind this year. :xmasgift:

Good to see a few BASF smurfs under trees too.

I did rather well this year, a BASF, a nice lot of Portugal markings, an Applause super and Safari without pocket painted and also had the two sets of fake smurfs from Hong Kong.

I will get a picture taken tomorrow. :-D

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......

and Safari without pocket painted
Glad you have got all those nice smurfs Rachel and Maureen!!!!!!I showed you the safari without pocket painted at Brussels, but I had seen it before in Spain...Do you think this one is a real variation, or perhaps is an usual mistake of painters?????????? :-? :-?

Do you think this one is a real variation, or perhaps is an usual mistake of painters??????????
Well there certainly seems to be a number of them so I wouldn't say it was just a one off paint error. It could be that a particular painter got the wrong instructions and this is how he painted a batch of them. I would not have thought that it was a deliberate change for the designers but as mentioned on the forum in the past, how many / what makes a valid variation? :-?

I am very glad I have one though. :-D

When I get a smurf of this kind, I always wonder: a real variation or a mistake????But then I say myself: well, I never mind...I have a different smurf!!!! :) :) :)
