That is a great pic Simon and very similar to what I had in mind. I had always had my inspiration form the pic below. :-D

Now I am thinking super smurf or even a playset. :)

Did get a reply from IMPS (in shock!) - imps@smurf.com

"Dear Mr Horseman, [lol, my name's Helen for goodness sake]

Next year we are setting up a charity program with one of the most important international organisation aimed to help children. In order not to jeopardize this program we cannot authorise the presence of the Smurf character in a second operation.

We hop you will understand our position.

Best regards

Damien Quennery

Business & Legal Affairs"

Going to stick this in news too, exciting news, hope hope hope it's a promotional smurf like the recent health ones. Fingers crossed

Interesting info there Mrs H.....um...Helen. We learnt something new there and we haven't given up just yet. We will bug them more until they give in and see things our way :)

Great to hear about getting the reply Helen. :-D

Funnily enough it was Damien Quennery we dealt with when we had the problems of domain names a few years ago. :sprint:

Just had a closer look at the graphic I posted and the magazine cover Simon posted. It looks like they are the same smurf drawing, just the other toys ad items have been erased. :D

Oh, I also looked carefully at the 2 pictures, and concluded that that must be Joaquin's alterego - carefully searching after variations. ;)

Yer that was the picture I had in my head too (where it from Rachel?)

Was really disappointed with the smurfkind they gave the baby sassette a doll rather than a smurf-doll, collector other 2" figures as well and just love the ones where the character has a mini-them, disney are quite good at doing those sort of figures

Hi Helen, to be honest, I don't really know. It is one of those bits of clipart that seems to have been floating around on the internet for years. I have know idea where it came from originally but I know I have had a copy of it on my hard drive for at least 7 or 8 years. :D
