Some drinks don't even touch the sides......I kind of get the feeling that this type of wine will not only touch the sides....but it will remain on them.....permanetly.

:) :) :) I've never thought about the pronunciation before :) I'm never going to be able to drink it again without having to giggle :) I usually giggle after drinking it anyway though :) :)

It's already cold enough to drink Glühwein here & Mrs Tojo had a couple of mugs of it at the St. Martin's fire on Friday evening while standing in the cold. I just froze as I had to drive & couldn't drink any :snowflake:

Did you already have snow, Tojo? Granny told me on Friday that it snowed already or was supposed to...

No not yet but it has been very windy & today it was pouring down & was cold - around 3°C. On some of the higher hills in the Taunus & Vogelsberg they've had a bit of snow but not much. In the south they had more & the ski resorts have aparrently had quite a lot.

We're going to have to put the winter tyres on the car soon I reckon.

Are you waiting for the first big pile up on the Autobahn before you do it? :o :) :) :) :) :)

I remember those traffic reports...that was usually the only time I was glad I didn't have a car :)

:) :) Normally we'd already have the winter tyres on the car but Mrs Tojo needs the car everyday at the moment so the car hasn't found its way to the garage....We're going to have to get them changed next week though as I'm worried it's going to get colder & start snowing here in the Wetterau too. :snowdance: :snowing: :snowflake: :snowman: :frosty:

I could do without it personally but it would give me an excuse to take a few pictures for Dyar knowing how much he'd like to have a snowball fight :)

:) :) :)

What he probably would like more than anything is having his face rubbed with snow.......makes it red and shiny...and you still remember every minute of it :) :) :) or a sleigh ride down the mountain...if you have no sleigh use a plastic bag like we used to do...
:-D

I simply love snow....and become like 5 year old the minute it starts snowing 8)

I had a snow fight once when I was a wee wittle Wyar Tojo.....but me being me forgot to bring the gloves to the Snowy Mountains and had to defend myself with snow in bare hands. Needless to say my hands kind of got very sore after a while and the grown ups (sensible people) kept telling me I couldn't fight......and me Dyar (the silly person) kept ignoring them until I could no longer touch the snow any longer. Hey.....how was I meant to know that snow required gloves? I think I brought thongs (flip flops) on that trip cos I was only 8 and didn't get much help with the packing bags bit. At least I didn't drop and lose my camera from the chair lift like my friend did :) :)

np Fishy.....now can you explain to me why the chicken sandwiches are called chicken sandwiches when they are actually on bread rolls and not bread like normal sandwiches?

Also....why do you guys chop up your meat so finely that it's like eating watered down meat instead of a big juicy piece of meat (sorry to any vegetarians out there). I remember eating some meat based sandwiches (that were really bread rolls) and thinking.......why did some bastard ruin my lunch?...and ....What the hell did I do to him, I didn't spit in his lunch or anything?

It was just very impolite of them to do that to my food I thought

When we were kids the only gloves we had were knitted & of course they were super-absorbant so after about 10 snowballs they were totally useless :banghead: Eventually we discovered that putting rubber dish-washing gloves over the knitted ones was a good idea. It looked darned stoopid though & I did prefer the sky blue to the baby pink ones :)
