I've always thought that there has never been a smurf hanging out his washing.. y'know, like a supersmurf hanging up a little selection of white hats and pants?

Maybe we should all have a geuss each and the closet person wins a prize? That could be quite fun in the build up to the new smurfs coming out?

Hi Az, I love your idea of the washing line smurf, very domesticated. :-D

I think I have just about given up trying to guess what the new smurfs will be. I try every year and have never even been close!

as long as it's not a chemistry smurf I'll be happy :) :)

Actually I don't mind what we get, as long as we get some..but PLAYSETS would be good (do you hear me Schleich???) :)
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

I just got an email from a Schleich Representative who wrote that the official announcement of the new 2008 Smurfs will be made early in 2008 with the release of the new booklet-catalogue.
I hope this doesn't mean that the new Smurfs will be available later at about the 50th anniversary date, but that it is just the official release that will be made in 2008 and the images will be available sooner.

Thanks for the info Paolo, I was just wondering today if we would hear something soon. :D

Too be honest..i`ve been checking everyday for the last week.

and now i`m beginning to get a little impatient :banghead:

I think the idea of a washing line Smurf was brilliant...and they could do a whole range of domesticated Smurfs..Smurf doing the dishes, hoovering Smurf etc...

Just as long as it`s not a range of cowboys to match this years indians.

C`MON SCHLEICH!!!....pull yer finger out...there`s Smurfers out there pulling their hair out...well those of us with hair :)
BLUE MOON..YOU SAW ME SMURFING ALONE!

Thanks Paolo :D I hope it still means that officially the new smurfs are announced/ promoted etc. in the new year but that we still find something out before then :-?
Elvis, I love your idea :hi5: I am starting to really hope that we get some domesticated smurfs (I can picture them already :D ) and I now worry that if it is not to be then I'm going to be disappointed  I would love to see your smurf vacuuming and maybe a smurf with feather duster and apron :-D

Hey guys!

Glad you like the washing line idea? Perhaps you could all vote to get me into the production ideas line at Schleich? I could be the agent on the inside!!

I don't like the 'modern' ones. I hope they do a more 'cassic' collection. The classic collection from 2006 was excellent I think.. although some were FAR too close to their original counterparts!

Just one word: PLAYSET!

Postby Azrael » Fri Nov 09, 2007 6:12 am
Wouldn't a 'black smurf attack' playset be great? Or Papa Smur lab?

Actually, they have never done a chef playset! You know, with a table where they are all sitting down eating like in the comics?

I think the storage building would be a nice idea, too

I agree, Papa's lab would be fantastic :-D

I´d vote for these ideas. Especially Papa´s Lab playset would be nice one to have. Also variety of Large cottages would be cool :D

I am in total agreement, a new playset or even a new building would be a fantastic anniversary special. :fingersx:

This has absolutely nothing to do with my lack of respect for cats.......but how about Schleich release an Azrael Torture Chamber playset next year?

I would buy one playset for each of my Azrael variations.....it would be simply awful if any of them felt like they were being left out.
