Hi :hiya:

I'm very excited and tremendously looking forward to Sunday. :hyper: Then I will meet the wonderful lady again, who purposed me to sell me some smurfs (esp. Super Smurfs). :yay::woohoo: :D

She told me that she won't bring each and everything, but a small selection. :D (However, we are also seeing each other on various events next year.) :woohoo: :yay: :D

I'm glad that you are now a member of the :pinksofa: gang. :D

Hi Sharon,

since I confused you and Sandra, I just felt I had to join the duck- and sofa gang. :D I am afraid, that I won't have much time over the weekend, for I have to finish a research paper due to hand next week. However, I shall make some pics soon.

Good luck on Sunday...I have been lucky enough to find two smurf ladies in my area - it's always much more fun to buy smurfs in person than on ebay, isn't it? :-D

Hi,

I went to the so-called fleamarket with Manni yesterday.
I had a lovely time meeting the lady again and I was lucky to find some Super Smurfs in mint condition (unwrapped). :D In fact, the fair turned out to be an antique fair, taking place once or twice a month, with lots of interesting goodies for very reasonable prices. :D Manni picked a lovely iceman and a very lovely peacock from the 1920's for his collection of old christmas decorations. :D Since both the lady is very helpful and the fair is very interesting, Manni and me will return on every venue with the exception of December, for we are going to visit two friends living in Andenne, Belgium and then hang out in Liège (also Belgium), April (since the dates of the collectors fair in Utrecht is overlapping with the date of the antique fair and next summer (from June to August).

List of the Super Smurfs, which I bought:
4.0222 - Airplane
4.0224 - Papa Teacher
4.0228 - Papa Rocking Chair
4.0253 - Motor Scooter
4.0254 - Scooter Smurfette
4.0257 - Schooldesk Sleeping
4.0258 - Schooldesk Talking
4.0260 - Principal
4.0261 - Smurf On Vacation
4.0262 - Smurfette On Vacation
4.0264 - Wild In Leaf Car

and some lovely variations.

Additionally I discovered Gargamels house, the old farmhouse and the Kwak windmill on another stall. Unfortunetly, the seller wanted 100 Euro per piece. :( Since Thursday is a public holiday in my federal country, I won't be able to post pics before Friday.

Great to hear you picked up so many Smurfs Dominique :-D
Does Manni put his collection on the tree at Christmas ? - I bet that would look amazing :xmas3:

Postby Ritter_Schlumpfenherz » Mon Oct 29, 2007 6:15 am
@Sue
Manni has got a very lovely artificial Christmas tree, which he loves decorating. :smitten: At the beginning of December, Manni puts the tree up and changes the decorations many times. I may take some pics of his collection, whilst visiting him on Saturday. :D

Hi Dom (pink sofa member)

I am glad that you had a nice time at the flea market, with Manni. :D

You have bought yourself some great smurfs - well done, Dominique!! It was a pity about the buildings - maybe, next time you will see them for a lot less. It's always best to wait.

:-D

By the look of that list it looked very worth going there......glad to hear it was a good day for you Dominique and it's a shame about the high prices on the buildings as a few of those would of been very cool to get.
