I was just reading the FAQ and I found a couple of things.

E.g. this:

Smileys, or Emoticons, are small graphical images which can be used to express some feeling using a short code, e.g. means happy, means sad.

One of my smurfy mates told me to use loads of those 's to make sure that everybody knows that I'm joking. Hope you don't mind that I'm giving away this secret here.

Try not to overuse smileys, though, as they can quickly render a post unreadable

I must say that I didn't know this.
But I would say that this is unreadable and that my other posts were fine except a few.
