Well after losing this lil beauty on ebay last week to our very own Mosey, I found out she didn't really want it (after I told her she didn't) and was only trying to outbid someone who outbid me originally...don't worry, I've given her a talking to with my fins so it shouldn't happen again

I hopped in my car this afternoon and drove an hour and 10 minutes through the beautiful Pennsylvania countryside to pick this up in Ephrata. The seller, Melissa, owns The Fun-est Toy Store Ever which she opened a little over a year ago. It was a nice store and she carries the current line of smurfs plus the newer cottages. After we got the display into my car, I went in to browse the store and realized I do not have the newer cottages so I picked up two of those as well. Melissa also gives free shipping with orders over $49 so check out her webstore for anything you may need!

PS I got the original shipping box with the official Schleich tape on the box as well

since I learned my lesson so well.....and didn't bid on anything that you are bidding on today......don't you think I deserve a reward ..like...lemme think... I mean...I did outbid everybody else.... so I really think I deserve the display....and since you already paid for it....I am no longer worried about the money thing..... ......so, don't you think I deserve to get the display????

Nice display. These were in David Jones stores here in Australia selling smurfs. But they had a backdrop photo/chart showing each smurf in each little box/shelve. Huge display, hopefully you had a large enough car. And excellent to actually have the original box!

A lot of stores selling the new smurfs in Europe and here have these display cases too. And, yes, I have the backdrop as well - it's just not in yet And it fit nicely in the backseat of my car (just a normal size, nothing big). I'm very happy with the case

I did spot this display whilst the auction was still running but I didn't see the finish so I am very glad to see it has gone to a great new home.

Even better that the display could be picked up in person as you got to meet another smurf seller Stace and saved a shed load on shipping.

Moey, if the fish won't let you use her display, you can come and live in mine whenever you like.

I know we mentioned going for a drive to pick this up when I was there and I wish I could of gone with you to see more of PA.....maybe hit a few Amish people this time which we missed last time

I have one of these too sitting at Christy's house waiting for me to come back and get it. A nice lady in one of the shops in Knokke gave it to me but I had so much stuff to bring back I couldn't take it with me last time. However I brought a nice big yellow bag in New York that might just do the trick.

Look after it for me Christy and I will come back for it and Mum's cooking very soon
