Hi Xavier!
This morning while flying to Rome I had enough time to read 6 newspapers.
On half of them there was that sad news.
What a curious story his parthership with Peyo!
On one newspaper there was also on pic of this "smurfs' other Dad"....well, I can say that he was the portrait of Uropasmurf!
Or viceversa!
He had a funny long beard!

Let's rememeber mr. Delporte for 1 second when taking a look at our Uropasmurfs.

Hello Xavier, Thank You for letting us know about this very sad news. :rose:

I have to admit, I did not know who Yvan Delporte was until I read about him tonight. He seems to have been very important in the comic strip industry of Belgium and I certainly recognised some of his work such as Spirou as well of course as the smurfs.

It is a shame that I had to learn about him after his death but I am glad that I do know about him now. Thanks Xav. :D

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......
