Reading the newspaper at lunchtime I was very interested to see an article about the future release of a Tintin movie which is going to be made by Steven Spielberg!
It was in the today's Mirror newspaper:

TINTIN THE MOVIE
FAN SPIELBERG'S EPIC
By Stephen Moyes 09/03/2007
COMIC book hero Tintin is set for his greatest adventure in a blockbuster film.
Tintin and his faithful white terrier Snowy will thrill their millions of fans in a movie by huge fan Steven Spielberg.
It has taken more than 70 years for the intrepid Belgian reporter with the quiff to make it on to the big screen.
George Remi, aka Belgian artist Herge, first wrote the adventures for a French newspaper in 1929.
Since then over 200million copies of Tintin books have sold in 77 languages.
The stories influenced Spielberg's Indiana Jones trilogy. And his company DreamWorks has been in talks to buy the Tintin movie rights for 25 years. The Hollywood film should be screened in two years.
The big question of course is who will take the part of our quiffed hero. Among the big-haired candidates must be Morrissey, TV's Mark Lamarr and Mark Kermode, Stray Cats singer Brian Setzer and Arsenal's Robin van Persie.
