Hi All; Just curious are any of you having a problem with Cicada's? I have talked to several people. And while none are really having a problem. I have tons of the holes that they came out of. I can find the hollow shells in my yard, but for some reason they are not in my yard making noise. In fact I can only hear them in the back yard and they arn't in my yard, but way beyond it. Now for the big question. My entire yard is surrounded with honeysuckle. Does that somehow keep them away? If so I'm planting it everywhere. lol

Not yet, but I've seen on the news that this is going to be a big year for them.
For those of you who don't know what Cicadas are, the article has a few pictures

I remember 1998...it wasn't so bad up here on the mountain, but I remember seeing pictures of people having to step on those things just to get out of the car to get gas.

I wondered about if the people overseas or in colder areas, knew what one was after I posted that. They can be super loud with just a few of them, but with millions of them it is deafening. I remember trying to watch a golf tournament a few years ago. You could barely hear the anouncers.
