I went to all the Christmas fairs at the churches in Peterborough yesterday and they put up a piece of tape across the door to the toy room....they said that the toy sales were for children only
I couldn't go in and look for smurfs
I was ready to pay a kid to go in and look for me. I can't believe they would do that!!!

Yea but arn't you a child at heart? I know I am. Even when I am not looking for Smurfs the toy dept was always my favorite. I think mainly because I didn't have many toys as a child, and I always like to see what kinds of toys I never got a chance to play with.

Yes, I am a kid at heart! I love going through the toy deptartment too and looking at all the Christmas decorations even though I have so many that I can't even fit all of them on the tree!
I don't know what those grouchy ladies at the fairs were thinking doing that. With the economy the way it is that's all some people can afford for their kids this year.

That's a uhh... weird thing to do.
Couldn't they have just limited the amount of a certain kind of item you wanted to buy? Like, no more than 3 of one item?
