Hi all :D ;)

Does anybody know what the following means please?
''oui mais il n'y a pas de suivi'' . I think winging the lingo only gets you so far then you come unstuck :-? :fingersx:

"Yes but there isn't any follow-up."

Does that make sense? :-?

Thank you for your help Hilary :D
It came from a guy selling some smurfs on French ebay I was interested in bidding on, but I don't really understand what he's trying to tell me so I think best I just stay away :)

And cheers Graham, have made a note of that one :-D :cheerz:

Maybe he wants to tell that if he ships to Australia (or wherever you live, I was convinced you were Australian, maybe you have the same avatar as someone from down-under) there's no way of tracking the delivery of the letter/parcel.

I translate it more or less to the same.
I'm guessing without the original context/question, it just lacks meaning.

Normally when someone says "il ny'a pas de suivit", it means that there will be no tracking or insurance for the shipment... so it is at your own risk.

Probably because it would cost too much to do it or the person cannot be bothered to get to the post office to send it and they don't want to be blame for it if it gets lost.

Sorry if this comes too late...
