Thanks for the translation Tor. :-D

Probably a good idea that we don't have a similar goat around here. I am sure with one too many wines I might decide to have a little climb. :)
The Swedish word for "climbing" means both "climbing" and "impregnating an animal" so the title has a funny twist
Good to know that one Tor, just in case........... :)
We might not have a goat, but what is disturbing is the fact we do have the word "mount" in or vocabulary... or at least its not in mine.. I just heard the expression once :-?

"He mounted the goat" and
"He mounted the summit" or mildly disturbing
"He mounted the picture to the wall"

Hi Maureen

this disturbs me to here that you treat horses that way to the extent that you have an expression for it... :)

Further to this what the males in the community need to know is that if people stop and stare, point or in rare occassions laugh whilst you are mounting said object (goat, summit, picture or in Maureen's case Horse) they may yell something like

"Thats well hung" in the case of the picture, goat or horse.. congradulate yourself.

They may also say something like "Why is it lop-sided" in the case of the picture, simply straighten it. In the case of the summit then you are in for a steep climb. In the case of other items formally described as being "well-hung", just say it is as nature intended.

This English lesson was brought to you today by the country called Sweden who has both goats, mountains and pictures and is not above mounting them all. 8-)

Sorry Tor I just had too... you can make a joke about us Kiwi's and know that it'll be taken in good humour. :D

Thanks Staci

In a further attempt to ruin international relations, lets pick on Canada.
They have a profession that has been singled out for their relationship to their horses (probably where Maureen heard it from) they give them a uniform and allow tourists to photograph them at work...

They proudly call them Mounties...

Okay now expecting a barrage of kiwi jokes from Attom and Astro... sorry guys I'll crawl back under my rock again

Donkey's bottom ? :) :) :)
I think it is important to say that no goats, horses, donkey's bottom's or indeed any animal was harmed in the making of these messages...

although my self respect, self image, credibility and ability to walk down the street safely probably has.
