Simon, I'm glad to hear that you're back. I was in Italy twice by bus and I wouldn't recommend it. Although it was nice and warm once we were there.

I loved the week I spent there while inter-railing & would love to do it again. We only went to Venice, Florence, Pisa, Rome & Pompeii but we had a lot of fun doing it & I have great memories of the trip.
