I just read that father Abraham ( Pierre Kartner) is going to write the next Dutch tribute for the eurovision songcontest.
( We haven`t won in yeeeeeears)
Let`s hope, he will be as succesful with it as with his smurfsong!

Yep, I read the news on Saturday. He also wrote the famous song "Die kleine Kneipe" (The little pub/tavern) for Austrian actor, singer and host Peter Alexander.

I wish, the song would compete successful in the contest, but I highly doubt it.

Well, he is 74 now, and does not have to paint his beard anymore to play the role of Father Abraham. But that white painted beard and his hat, made him look the same from the 1970's till now...

I agree with Dom that the chance of succes is small, although his songs always have something catchy in it...even though that catchy part sometimes is also irritating....
