I have a question.
How much should be a reasonable price for a couple of original mint conditions praying smurf and smurfette without the hook?
Is there someone who has them for sale?
I can also consider buying a couple of mint regular (original, with the hook) praying smurfs, if the price is reasonable (or if you are willing to accept some of the BP gardener smurfs mint in package as part of the payment).

EDIT: done, thank you.

Other question:

Is there also a wreath smurf without hook?

Hi Poalo, yes there is a wreath smurf without a hook. Im not sure about prices. I would imagine they would be the same price as the ones with hooks. Sorry im not much use in this area. :D Lucie

Actually this prompts a question. Why are there 2 sets of praying smurfs. Ones with a hook and ones without a hook? Are all the christmas smurfs like this? Are they both authentic and which are the better ones to buy? With or without?

Thanks

Brad.

Hi guys, regarding the hooks for the Christmas smurfs, I have heard two different reasons for this.

Firstly, that they were released as two different sets, with and without hooks.

Also though I have heard that they were distributed to some retailers with the hooks seperate for the retailer to add themselves.

Which is true, if either, I really don't know sorry.

I do have the Christmas wreath with and without hooks though. :D

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......

I have all 3 without hooks, they definately have never had anything attached..I don't know the story behind them, but I had heard the same story as Rachel said.
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

Do the smurfs without the hook come without the hole in their hats? :?
I have the two raw praying ones and both have no hole in them so I guess they were never intended as ornaments :-?
