Yep, I received my first Pixi's today! There some are more on the way, B-day present from my girl
. I'll post pics soon! I have a few questions regarding the houses though. Are they suppose to be shiny? From all the pics I've seen they look really shiny, almost like the smurfs. The ones I received aren't made of metal or glossy.
Anyone know what kind of paint they use to paint these?

Hi Oli
I am really starting to love these. I think Gerda planted the seeds first and since then others have continued to fuel my interest in them. Your pixis look amazing and I love the large Gargy & Az.
I don't know much about these yet...I am still learning and hope to start my collection of them very soon so I will be interested in all discussions relating to them and I hope someone can teach us both more about them by answering your questions.
Good luck with adding more sets to your collection

Hi Oli
Did your houses come with the certificate? They don't look as shiny as mine but that could be the photos. If they have the cert though, I would think they are fine

Hi Oli, great to see your Pixi village and the new items that you have had.
It is hard to tell from pics about how shiny the houses should be but I agree with Staci, if yours had the certificates you should be fine.
Xavier, I love your village and have often found myself on your site drooling over your pics.

Gerds...I have found two variations so far and it is just the color of the base....normally the bases are usually green but these are gray. I have seen the normal with both and the one with cake (below).

My smurf with hands behind his back has the gray base!

That's the one I call "normal"
I don't have the green base, just the gray for this guy and I know David has the gray base as well!

I suppose when I get my village path set he will be the one walking the path and not sitting on the grass
