Hi,

Are there more out there? I haven't heard of any, but that doesn't mean anythings. :?

What year were the playsets released? I know the soccer one was released in 2006, but I am not sure about the others

thank you for any help :D

Hi Mo,
These are the only 3 sets for the moment.
I'll look when the first to were released.
I think it was 2004 the pirates and 2005 the knights.

Agreed.. 2004 was pirates and 2005 were the knights and 2006 soccer.

McDonalds did release the PVC smurfs in 1996 and 1998. All these are pictured on my website in the collections bit (except the 2006 ones as I didn't buy much last year).

thank you for your replies :D Good to know I have one collection finished :-D

I know a lot of collectors don't really like them, and I admit I was one of them, but now I have to say they have their own particular charm :D and look nice when displayed :) :) :)

Hi Maureen, great pics of your sets. :-D

I have to admit I gave up on the McDonalds stuff after the last release in the UK which was in about 2003 I think, mainly due to a lack of space and I have to admit (with my head down in shame) my older displays are still up in the attic as I just couldn't find any space in the smurf room. :bolt:

Maybe I will try and get these more recent sets at some point in the future as I agree, they do look good, but for now, they are pretty much at the bottom of my (very long) wanted list. :shhh:

Hi Gerda, the smurfs themselves are exactly the same, just presented in a very nice display box. :D
