I have received the four stamps today...I had forgotten all about them :) :) :) so that was a very nice surprise..

I do have one question though...the weightlifter on the picture is wearing the yellow shirt but on the stamp he is wearing the red stamp

are there variations of the stamps available??? :?

Those are awesome Mad Mo Sub-Maureen :D I think you had an inkling that they would get my stamp of approval anyway.

I haven't managed to get any of these yet and they look in such nice condition and witht he boxes as well.

You are a lucky lucky lucky lucky lucky ducky to have all of these in one hit like this.

Well done

Dyar

It might just be the picture on the box Maureen....I have never seen a stamp with a yellow singlet before....maybe someone else will have a better idea but I think they are all with red.

Dyar

Those are really nice Maureen ! :D

:-D

Postby Guest » Thu Nov 09, 2006 11:34 pm
no...that is not a variation...my stampers are the same....yellow shirt on box and red inside... you bought that from the seller *goodtaste* ??

Postby steveparkes » Fri Nov 10, 2006 12:36 am
The Indian chief on the box has red shoes, but the actual stamper has brown shoes aswell Maureen :D

Lovely stamps, I was tempted by these at the fair in Belgium..but the praying smurfette called to me and so I bought her :)

Congrats on getting them Maureen :D
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

Wonderful Stampers Maureen, they're in excellent condition from the pics too...... :-D

It would'nt surprise me either if there were vatiations of these. Considering when we think there are none of something else they tend to pop up from nowhere :-?

Smurfy regards

I think you aren't over the shock of finding out how many variations there are of the Silan smurfs, are you.. :) :) Don't worry, I am still in total shock myself

The stamps are in mint condition..
they weren't cheap, but you know, sometimes you have to splurge :o :-? (well, I seem to be doing that a lot lately, but hey ..... 8-) 8-)

Chessy, you are correct, that's the seller :D

I see these on EBAY once in a while, but to get all four is superb!

Hi Maureen, congratulations on getting the stamps set, thay are lovely items. :-D

My set is exactly like yours with the red gymnast and brown shoes indian and as far as I know, having seen quite a few sets over the years, they are all the same BUT you never know. :D

Hi, Maureen!!!!!!!My set is exactly the same than yours...It´s a lovely goup of smurfs...And about the smurf in the image of the box and the smurf inside...I only can say that is one of things Schleich does that I can´t understand...For example: in the box of super 40213 (chaingang) you see the red shoes, but inside the smurf you see is in yellow shoes...I think it´s simply stupid ( IMHO... :) :) :) :) :) ) I never have seen the red shoes chaingang... :-? :-? :-?

Well, I admit I am glad that from the sounds of it there aren't any variations... :-D :) :)

I will have to stop my smurf hunt for several months now and still need just about every variation under the sun, so once I get back to hunting, I'll have enough to hunt after :( :) :) :) :)

And since I don't collect boxes, I won't worry about them too much :D

Mad Mo,
I just won the red shirted weightlifter stampthe other night :D I blame you now for me bidding...well actually Dyar bid for me (thank you! :cheek:) because it ended the middle of the night here :)
:dory: Staci :dory:

Postby Michelle » Mon Nov 13, 2006 1:53 pm
It's correct like you mentioned. Yellow on the box and red inside.
There are no variations of this one but there is one with the indian.
The headfedders? are once like on the picture 'colored' and sometimes like yours 'black'.
So my set of stamps make 5 pieces.

Michelle

Thanks for that info Michelle, I haven't seen the other Indian so I will keep a look out for this one. :thanks2:

Congratulations Stace. :cheerz:
