Very excited today when I got home from work. My gargamel castle arrived! I saw that it was in stock on the Toy Dreamer website on the weekend. He only had the 1 in and I thought, why not. I haven't brought anything smurf in months apart from my 2 sunday market finds. Also grabbed a Gargamel figure that I didn't have. So package arrived today safely and I've just put the castle together. It's awesome! and HUGE! it doesn't fit into my cabinets, it's too tall and too long. So it will have to sit on top of the cabinets. I'll be sure to post a photo on the weekend. No time right now. But amazing building. Really nice. Very pleased with this buy. Never thought I'd manage to own this one anytime soon. Good thing also to save on postage coming from within Australia than to import from overseas. So good buy I thought. Thanks again to Toy Dreamer (andrew).
YAY!!! hehe
Brad.

Thanks everyone! I don't think I mentioned that the castle was the newer production version. Excellent building, yeah I was surprised at it's size. I know I'd heard eveyone else say how large it was so I was expecting big, but still I was surprised... haven't actually had time to admire it yet, lol. I was putting the thing together late last night once I got home from work. Work load has picked up this past month and the overtime has been looking good for my account the past few weeks. So I needed to treat myself, heh. It's the most that I've paid for an item for my collection.... and it feels good actually LOL.
Very pleased that another item can be crossed off my want list now.
Brad.

It's a damn sight easier putting it together then the windmill, isn't it

Ah yes, the material on the sails sami..yes, they were hard to do the first time..but I've got a system now
The hardest part for me was all the bannisters - knowing what part goes where

Have you ever tried to put the castle BACK in the box though? It won't fit!

To celebrate the fact that Brad has now got the Castle....I think we should all go out and get Schlossed
If not...I will be willing to do it on everyone's behalf
.....although I am sure Rach will be willing and unstable
