I have received two very nice smurfs from somebody very nice in Wales. ..the picture I took doesn't really do them justice, but I am sure you still remember them from ebay. :) ..thank you soooo much Rachel for the fast shipment and just the pleasure of owning some of your wonderful smurfs :D :thanks2:

Another big surprise welcomed me today when I came home.. :joy: .. It usually takes about two weeks for packages from Australia to arrive at my home, but somehow Andrew/Dyar managed to get these wonderful smurfs here in a week.. :-? .thank you so much... :thanks2:

My first raws :smitten:

Two very nice variations from Dyar

I feel so special now, that I actually own some of the smurfs that stayed in houses of two of my "smurf mentors' :worship: :worship:

of course, Dyar's smurfs are causing a big problem now :banghead:  :-? .....

I like them so much, I fear I start to collect raws now

:) :) :)

For a long time I have hesitated before buying from another forum member...but I must admit I like doing that now, because the smurfs are in so much nicer condition when they come from another collector... :D

Glad they arrived safely

I didn't really want to sell these raws either but I needed as much money as I could to fund the trip so in the end I was just grateful that you were able to help me there and I am happy they went to a fellow forum member instead of into the abyss.

They may be cheeky but I am sure you can sort them out fairly quick Maureen :D

Graham, I am actually looking into it a bit and making inquiries about it... It depends how much time I will have over the winter months as I will be very busy come Spring....
from an e-mail I received today it looks like I may be getting a visitor come December, who will stay a few months and wants "constant" company, so I may not have the time.... but a website is definitly on my list one of these days :D

:woohoo: But um, you might want to rethink that Dyar invite...you know he's the troublemaker - I can say that because he won't be here for awhile to find this :)
