Aww Maureen
This is a fake smurf from Hong Kong and they come in three different colours that I know of -- white hat, yellow hat and red hat and in two different sizes, plus whatever colour cape they have material for when they are sold
I have two small (5 inches) and one large (about 10 inches?). My red small one is not shown in this pic.
There is actually a "real" version of this smurf but it's a limited edition....I think Rach has a real one??

oh that's quite alright, I can handle a picture, it's that thingy in the bathtub that worries me
well, time to go to bed under the protection of my fearless protector (
) who hides from his own shadow

Hi Maureen, Stace is absolutely correct.
These larger (and smaller) King figures have been around for a year or two. The real version was a very limited edition and came with a t-shirt, box and broach for his cape. The fakes soon followed, initially, their quality was very poor but more recently this has improved considerably. They seem to have been available in quite a few different colours, the capes in red, green, yellow and blue and the actual smurfs in yellow, red and white.
These are lovely display items but their value is much much less than the originals.

well, I admit he kinda grows to ya and he has been behaving very nicely last night in the water
Here are two pictures of him... I agree he will look nice in the future smurf room
I think it's his eyebrows that always scared me, but he is a smurf, so how bad can he really be???

I have decided to keep this smurf as he has been kind of growing on me
. However, he is getting a bit on my nerves, because he will not stand up...I had planned to put him on top of my bookshelf but he keeps falling down...the first time he hit me, which I was able to laugh off
but after he has fallen down for four or five times within an hour
well... I decided it's time to ask for help.
I know a lot of you have several of these smurfs...so how do you keep them from falling down?

Sorry Maureen, I can't help you. Mine is quite happy to stay upright without assistance!
Hope you figure something out,
Trish

You could threaten to bust his little kneecaps...that seems to have worked for my guys as they stand up just fine

Oh dear Maureen, sorry to hear your King smurf has a problem staying upright, maybe one or two beers too many.
I am assuming you have tried moving his legs a little to try and get better stance so the only thing I can think of to help might be a little of the magic blue tak. I have used this a few times on other wobbly smurfs.
