Hi
I think I need to see Father Attom soon!
I stayed up all night... I did go out with friends, then had them over after
the bars closed to visit, but my real intention was to stay up for a auction that was coming up.. at 8am!
and I did stay up ! to watch the auctions..
but the one smurf I really wanted to bid on.. passed by as I chatted for a moment with one of my friends who was still here.
shooot! and missed the auction completely!
it was for this smurf! ( this one has slipped thru my fingers 3 times now!

Hi Attom, firstly good on you for staying up, that takes real dedication. It has been a long time since I have either stayed up or got up in the night for smurfs.
I am glad to hear you had a great night out with your firends. Sorry to hear though that you missed your auction. I was watching all three of these and in fact watched the end of the Gargamel (sorry to rub it in
) as it was such a lovely item. Glad to hear you got the others though, especially that fake mechanic.

hi Rachel!
thank you, I also haven't done this for a long time, but sometimes its the only way to try to get something special..( in my case maybe not
)
Its funny how I blinked and missed that auction, it will be fun looking for it again, and I do hope who ever got it enjoys it , as its a fun fake.
and thank you as well Smurfing Beer! for me these are like getting a
praying smurf or fixi and foxi!

Oh no Attom
That is awful to hear you missed this Gargy & Az as they do look like a superb fake figure. I have never seen this one before but I know how much you would love to have one and I can only hope you see it again.
Can I ask what it ended for as I imagine it wouldn't of been cheap?
I love the other light skin toned Smurfs. I hope to get some of these fakes someday and you did well to pick up a couple more of them.
I love the dedication to the cause

hi! Dyar
there are two types of the Gargamel, I have one, which I got a few years ago, here is the link for that one I missed. the one I do own, I have in a cabinet.
http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... %3AIT&rd=1
it sold for $30.50 euros, which is actually the lowest I have seen this one go for..( another reason it killed me!
) hehehe
but the mechanic fake was a bargain at 1.99 euro, the flesh tone ones I paid $50.50 euro for (ouch! ) but love them.
Its always good to know what things go for.. as alot of this stuff is not in
a katalog, yet ?
here is a pic of the two of them from Bruno's website.

Those Gargie fakes are really much nicer than the official releases in my opinion. I especially like Azrael - what a cute kitty

Thanks for the info Attom, I was interested to see what they finished at and figured they wouldn't of gone for small amounts. I hope to get both Gargamels one day....but I think I would be just as happy to see you get the one you need first. Good luck.
I really love the Mechanic too...I would of put a bid on that too in the old days.

Since Belgium is the home of smurfs and there seems to be more smurfs there than sheep in Australia & New Zealand put together...I was thinking of maybe just staying there forver and being surrounded by smurfs everywhere and everyday for the rest of my life.
...can someone please help Fram, he's just fainted

It was! But we passed under the sign going about 90mph - I think I'd hurt myself getting that sign at that speed.
When you visit America, I'll bring you there
