as I won him today on Ebay from France.

Nice one Attom...I have seen the Tyrolese one in the Comicfiguren Katalog. If you don't have the book I can see what it says (description & value) if you are interested.

I wish I had both of those wind up smurfs as well as they are very unusual.

Nice to see Sleeping Smurfette has found her Prince

I think the Katalog only shows the Tyrolese so I didn't even realise that the Smurfette was related (or married in your case).

I will get back to you with the info even if minimal and see if it has any others pictured...if so I will post a pic for you.

Congratulations...these look really nice....and odd :)

Hi Attom, I do remember the lovely rose smurfette.

Great to see that you have now got her partner as well and I will look forward to the wedding pics. :yay:

As Dyar mentions, the large tyrolese is featured in the KMS preiskatalog with a value of 75.00 euros. It also mentions the smurfette at the same value but no picture of her so I think you have done even better by now having the pair. :-D

Yep Rach is right about the info above...the only thing I can add is that the Tyrolese is pictured with a brownish smoking pipe that connects to his mouth. It looks like it might missing from the one you bought, however I think these are pretty rare so just to get one is pretty amazing....it also looks in great condition too.

I suppose I will be hunting for a mini pipe for him,

I would also love that Mr Tambourine Smurf...I saw it on ebay not that long ago but it wasn't very cheap unfortunately.

You're very lucky to find these 2 Attom as they don't appear very often....I guess it pays to do the search. :D

hi Dyar!

thanks! it sure makes your eyes pop seeing hundreds of EBAy listings

each day, but then that is the only way I can find something unusual.

sometimes its just luck on the first page, but I spend hours each day

checking every listing if I can. its kinda fun. I even eat dinner

browsin.. as my computer is a laptop so I can keep it on my coffee table.

hey! what one smurfaholic will do!

:):):) but I do see alot of stuff I don't need. almost 90%

Thanks to Rach too for helping with the info.....it's nice having people awake at different times that can get the info on quicker.

I can't look at ebay Attom...I want to buy everything I see. I got into trouble without even really looking so I would be in serious smurf if I looked at every auction. You must have far more discipline and focus than I do. I will have to try and learn to be better in the future and narrow my bidding on only the really good stuff.

hi Dyar

its very hard to look at EBAY, it only works when most of the items you

already have or don't really want... then its ok

but when I first started I bought way too much stuff! mind you it ain't any

cheaper this way as I spend the same or more..but get fewer items.

I miss the daily post office! what a couple of years that was,

No worries, the katalog and my camera were both sat right next to me so I had no excuse...........

and now I have just written that out I am with Attom - what one smurfaholic will do!

:)

I am also trying to avoid Ebay at the moment as I just can't stop myself. A little peek won't hurt but then I see something that is

a). a bargain (well I saw it sell for $300 last week!)

b). a smurf I HAVE to have (because it is on my wanted list!)

c). not a bargain or on my wanted list (but it would finish off a particular section!)

d). a variation that I have not seen before (but Dyar got one last week!)

e). a nice pair of shoes (now that is another story!)

:ebay: :badpc:

:haha:

I can relate to that list, heck! I bought a car on ebay, which makes everyone I speak to laugh!

one girl at work yesterday laughed for 5 minutes when she saw my car!

it was embarassing, as it was a super loud one! then she called me a stupid ass!

of course I smiled and said life if for living, what else could I say! :)

( by the way this is a friend!, so I can imagine what strangers think!:):))

All but the shoes on that list....the rest I agree with totally and know the feeling. Except for the bit about what I bought last week.....for me it's usually ------ fill in blank with anyone's name on this forum.

I think if Adam & Eve were alive today the snake would be ebay instead. :?
