Here are the last 2 items from the first package (fake & CD):

The 2nd package had quite a few things like the St Patricks Smurf Display Box and a Smurfette Cottage. The cottage has Hong Kong W Berrie Co markings which is the first one I have seen of these. I am sure they are pretty common but for some reason I have nver seen any even though I have over 20 different cottages. The colours are darker or brighter than the other S/ette cottages even though the pic doesn't really show the colours that well.

this cool dude on a bike thingy (made by Helm like those puppets on bases)

Also this strange ghost white porcelain smurf that I have no idea what it's meant to be.....anyway it looked cool in the auction

Some wonderful things there Dyar :D I especially like the lute player & the one on the trike with the funny legs. The ghosty smurf is interesting too. Could it be a toothbrush holder maybe? How big is it?
Tojo McTonyson - Okarben's Bagpiper Extraordinaire.... :partyon:

It's approx 14.5cm tall Tojo. It could be a toothbrush holder :-? ....what does Lucie think, would she recommend this as a toothbrush holder? I know you probably aren't an expert in toothbrush holders Lucie but it falls under the dental umbrella in a way so I had to naturally ask you. :)

I think it's a weird item...ooh there's a toothbrush...hang on

Well I just tried a toothbrush and it seems to work pretty well....seems to suit the shape so I am guessing this is what I will call it until I hear of something else.

LOL.....you would be very welcome to visit me and the family down here.....as well as my real family (the human ones). The last time I went on holiday was November 1998.....it may be another 10 years before I get anywhere too. :(

I was planning on going to the US and meet lots of people over there but with a new baby coming and ebay I don't think that will happen next year....I guess I should start saving now though.

Thanks Attom....I learnt to be a smurf nut from you....I'm not complaining though. :D

The seller I bought these from had more available if anyone is interested...I think they were about 2 euro each.

Good question......possibly not as I doubt I would understand a word of it....although I usually like to play them at least once to hear what's on them....so maybe.

Does anyone else have Cottages with Hong Kong W Berrie Co markings???? This is the first one I have seen and I am guessing they can't be that rare but it was a surprise when I saw the markings the other night as it's news to me.

Dyar

PS - I received some nice goodies today (4 packages on my desk this morning) which featured the white Wreath rohling, a couple with unpainted parts, Kayak in the Super Sport Smurf box & a wind up skipping smurf set MIP. I had this item already but it was broken so this will make a nice replacement.

I think I got it from a seller in the US.

Thanks Trish for your reply.

I have seen this version of the Smurfette's Cottage before as it stood out with the darker colours but I never noticed it being listed with markings so I had no idea HK cottages existed. I wonder if there are other HK Cottages out there in the different colours.....does anyone know?

Some lovely goodies there Dyar, congratulations. :cheerz:

I also love the squeaky smurfs, they are so cute and the fakes are also very very nice. As always you have a great eye for fabulous smurfy stuff. :-D

Hi Attom

I just noticed the pic you posted of the Helm Tricycle thingy.....do you think that maybe mine is the same as yours except mine is missing smurfette on the side? I can't see how it would join on but logically thinking I would think that mine is just missing the side cart rather than there being 2 of them like this.....then again this was the first one I have noticed of these so anything could be possible I suppose.

Here are some of the new items I received yesterday:

The raw Wreath does not look like it has been stripped...infact it looks brand new (markings Portugal)....I am guessing this is either authentic or possibly more plausible due to the amount of them out there at teh moment is that they have been newly produced (faked)....but if so they did a dman good job of it as this one looks perfect in every way to me.

The Papa Conductor has obviously been stripped as there was a trace of black paint underneath the base still attached to part of the markings....but I like the look of it anyway so I am not complaining.

I also received this Wind Up Skipping Rope set which I already had but this was still in the packet.

I also received 2 packages today which featured a new Syd (see pic) and also another Kwak Well which wasn't mentioned in the auction and therefore I won it for the starting price of about only 3 GBP which is a real bargain in my opinion. You can see in the pic down below that the Kwak Well has darker brown wood parts whereas the smurf ones are more yellowish.

Some more lovely arrivals Dyar. :-D

It is interesting hearing your thoughts on the raw wreath smurf. I agree that it does look suspicious because so many of these have been sold lately but I totally respect your opinion about ti looking original yet new. I would love to know the truth. :sherlock: :D

Great win with the Kwak well set as well.
