hi!

It might be my weird taste... but somehow I like things with more character.

I notice there was another Murano glass item talked about on here

at

that one is even more interesting.

I remember that thread from the past Attom.

First of all congrats on winning something you have wanted for a long time. I don't know anything about these but they do look very interesting. It looks like he has red stockings on but no pants....just to prove what a big liar Syd is about the ability of smurfs down there.

He looks really nice Attom and I am so happy for you...he should fit right in at your house with all of the other amazing stuff you have.

Dyar

PS - why do I get the feeling that Attom's collection is worth more than the building he keeps them in?.....maybe soon they will be worth more than the entire block

ooooh! I worry about that too! my place is like a shack! and the value of the smurfs has taken over..

not that I could ever think of them in $$ terms.. that way

but I am getting closer to walking on smurfs everywhere here!

your house foundation I think must be solid blue? eh dyar :) :)

When we went to venice I saw some hand made glass smurfs being sold there. but the only one I saw was a naked smurfette with big breasts.. Robert loved it as did our freind, but I could not bring myself to buy her... now I'm kind of wishing I did as it would have been an interesting piece to have :???:

Well this was several years ago when I put my collecting on hold so it did not interest me at all, I'm sure if I saw something like that now I would snap it up in a heart beat and try to find more for you guys.. after I pry them all out of Robert's hands of course... funny thing is he really does not find smurfs that interesting, but that one he really liked :-? :) :) :)

A lovely smurf Attom, congratulations. :cheerz:

I searched when I was in Venice but couldn't find anything as I would love one of these one day, I think they are really interesting items to have.

Gerda, shame on you, leaving a lovely smurfette behind when she didn't have her dress on. She might have got cold!
