Blue Cavern

Hi guys

I received this little guy in the post on Friday and I absolutely love him. He's a small Dupuis Normal smurf which has been sitting at my pc desk and I don't have the heart to move him yet. I know Karen and a few others already have one of these but I think they are nicer than I thought they would be.

These are bigger than normal smurfs although this is the smaller version of the Dupuis one. There is a bigger one about 30cm I think.....I am sure Fram or Attom can correct me if I am wrong about the size. I'm not sure how tall these ones are off hand but I can measure him the next time I am on the forum.

Dupuis large one (only normal blue Smurf): 30 cm
Dupuis medium ones (Normal (= Dyar's), Angry, Papa and King with cape): 15 cm
Dupuis small ones (figurine or keychain) (normal, papa, angry, prisoner, gold): 5 cm

I think that bigger smurf items are nice, you can display them almost anywhere and they are more noticable.

Oh Lucie....you have gone and made Syd all jealous now.....it's a good thing I made Syd travel to work with me today otherwise he may of turned into Edward Syderhands and chopped that poor Dupuis Smurf to pieces......I may move the Dupuis to a higher shelf that is Syd proof when I get home.

I love my little Dupuis smurf, I still want to squeak him though and Stinky still calls him the dog toy. I'm not sure if he is serious or if that is a sly reference to me?

LOL @ Karen......I am sure Stinky wouldn't be that mean.

Jack totally told me off the other night for squeaking it when he was trying to watch cartoons.....I was just giving it a bit of clean but the head is very squeak sensitive it seems.
