I recently received some Entex figurines and I didn't realise there was some with different base:

If anyone knows what's the history behind these variations, I'd love to know... :-?

Interesting! I didn't know that. I have the one with the little bump coming out of the bottom.

Originally I just bought an extra coco one just to replace my old battered one... just to find a "variation"!!!!

Here are the 3 I have:

there is at least 3 more:
- Gargie and azrael (2) from the Entex castle
- Smurf with toothbrush

Hi Lacey,

The bump should actually be there on both. It must have been cut on that one so that it could be set on a flat surface.

The papa smurf has the conic base with a bump.

Cheers,

David

hi!

those entex smurfs come from LOC BLOC sets

they are like lego sort of.. there are three different sets

and each one includes a smurf.

the bottom of the smurf fits into one of the BLOCS

check out http://www.saussard.be/

LOOK under more ...more ...more then under box sets and you will

see one of these

there is a gargamel one as well as a Papa and a coco smurf

I have the gargamel and the coco smurfs and both have no bumbs
under them

How interesting David. I don't have any of those figures and didn't know there were different variations. Looking at the 2 different types of markings it looks like there was at least 2 different productions of these so one of the variations would be the earlier and one from the later productions. Not very helpful I suppose but that's all I could think of.

I would like to get some of these someday
