I have run out of shelf space so I put up a new arrangement with some of my favourite smurfs that I call "Wall of Fame".

They are behind glass so they are well protected. :D

Nice ones. I like all your shelving, and these ones are auite perfect for Smurfs.
For the moment, I just push back my books a bit (and they often are already in double rows), and put some Smurfs in front. They don't take the view away of the books, but you have to be careful when you wnat to read one... Ther are wild plans to make huge cupboards / shelvings for my Smurfs and other stuff, but it will take a few years before we start on it. :(
:sheep: Bored of normality, why not go smurf? :sheep:

They look great Tor - nice display - and great smurfs :D
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

They look great Tor.....perfect for smurfs and the shelves really do display yoru smurfs well.

I just got the American Umbrella sockel last week and it reminds me of you....you must be the Umbrella King.

I really need to sort soemthing out for my own displays and find a way to protect my collection. In the last week due to the heat here in Sydney my Conveyor Belt rubber stretched and broke...and so did the plastic ropey thing on the Forklift. That's 2 items that are now virtually worthless and I didn't even touch them as the heat did it for me. I have another Forklift so I have removed the rope thingy from the the actual Forklift and if I get another Conveyor Belt then I would keep it MIB to avoid this happening again. Just a warning for others who get these items and want to protect them.

Thank you all!
I do love the umbrella smurf but still miss some sockels. And my yellow one has been glued on to something so his feet are funny looking and I'm would really like to have one in mint condition.

We have about –10° C here so I don't think that my smurfs will melt anytime soon. :-D

I like your shelves too Tor. They're simple but show off the smurfs perfectly. Which is after all the whole point :D

Vey nice display shelves, Tor! I would like to put my Plastoys on display but I'm so scared that they will fall. And then we would be in outpatients for hours waiting to be seen and then the doctor would admit me to the psych ward. Oh well they will stay in boxes for now.
I was starting to run out of room because so I bought a parts cabinet and have my variations stored in it and only have one of each figure displayed instead. I'm waiting to get a few more cabinets but here's how it looks so far.
Some of the bigger ones, like the Umbrella smurfs just won't fit but you can get the same type of cabinet with bigger drawers.

Nice idea Tam, a great way of storing them yet still easy to get to. :-D

LOL! :)

Hubby's uncle and aunt came to visit us over Christmas and of course wanted to see the smurf room. Well, uncle decided to try and take a pic and was walking backwards, straight towards my glass cabinet with all our BREAKABLE smurfs in it including the plastoys. He did actually back into it in the end and down went our Angry plastoy, you should have seen my face!!!

:yikes: :banghead: :yikes:

He didn't even realise what he had done (love him  ) so Hubby ushered him out of the room very quickly. Luckily no damage was done but now visitors are kept well away for that bit of the room.

Nice storage shelves Tam...sorry it's the first time I have seen it for some reason.

samismurf, the Baseball Smurf isn't a cheap one to buy because there are not as many of them but I wouldn't really call them rare either as a lot of people do have them although they are rarer than most of the older common smurfs for sure. I am guessing the value of them would be around $20-$40 US....I have sold my ones for about $45 Aus (which is about $30 US or 17GBP although I am guessing with the currency conversions.

Are your 2 Pitchers variations in colour or anything?

Nice pics samismurf :D

They look nice standing next to each other.....I am suddenly getting the urge to go out and collect Baseball Pitchers now except I would get severe brain damage if I did that....from Mrs D, not from the Pitchers of course.

They both look in pretty nice condition...I might have to check what mold number is on my one now out of curiosity.
