Oh I am so stupid, I have the official list here from IMPS with all the codes and official smurf names. Duh!!!

It says

20219 Schoolhorn green
20220 Schoolhorn red
20221 Schoolhorn purple

Don't ask me why it says horn but it does, and this list came from IMPS. So where the heck do they get purple from? :) :)

Hm, so I'll have to swap them around on the site. Oh well, it was due for an update, anyhow...

I wouldn't swap them just yet because although IMPS say one thing Schleich might have changed the order or something. Been doing some more digging and found Rachel asking the same question many moons ago on the old MV forum.

Not really any the wiser now!

3. "RE: Different Schleich Number???"
In response to message #0

Hi Rachel
in the 1986 Schluempfe book Schleich used the number 2.0221 for the showed pink surprise bag / school cone (please note the printing mistake 2.0211 among others in this book)

in all small Schleich catalogues for collectors they used the number 2.0221 for the showed pink surprise bag / school cone too (except the 1988 mini catalogue which shows the green surprise bag with the number 2.0221).

After all I would say 2.0221 IS the pink surprise bag, this means both smoerfers and pete on esmurf are wrong with the pink one (sorry, Pete ;-) - what do you think??).

Schleich didn't tell me (see statement above) which color (green or red) was PLANNED with #2.0219 and which with 2.0220.

Hope this is one piece more in your puzzle.
angelsmurf
The fact that my list has strange colours on it also fits with her story about these being only "planned" production which is interesting.

I realised there are probably all sorts of treasures on this list so am going to try and make it into a downloadable pdf for people to print out. I just noticed 20480 English Heart Smurf and 20481 French Heart Smurf. I really am a bit bad sitting on this info when I know people are trying to suss this stuff out. :sillyme:

In my opinion the surprise cones should have only one number and be recognized as variations. One number for one form of a mold.. Like the gargy with finger up should not be a variation to the lab glass, but rather have it's own number.. Just my opinion. it would make things easier!!

gerda
ps.. just like i think the blue and white hockey player should not have it's own number since they are shown as variations to the hockey player, yet they are given there own number in the end of the book :-? :-? confused yet!!

I agree with you Gerda...it would be a lot simpler to do things this way....then again, we are talking about Schleich :)

Hi Karen, as you can see there has been some confusion over the suprise bag numbers in the past. I have changed my numbers around a couple of times due to this inconsistency in the information, maybe I will again in the future. :-?

Angelsmurf is called Stefan and was an absolute font of knowledge with an incredible collection. Shame he is no longer around. :???:
Also why is there no 2.0480 & 2.0481, by this point the numbers were pretty much running in order and I haven't found any other figures using these numbers or am I missing something?
I posted this a few days ago so at least the IMPS list clears this one up. Personally I don't think I will be changing my numbers around to include these two, I definitely prefer them as variations but will probably add a footnote about this on their page. :D
