Went to the NEC toy fair today. I saw quite a bit of smurf stuff. 2 videos, a basket of patches, a trudi plush smurfette, smurf stickers and smurf mug. I bought

1 super angler smurf (old box)
1 smurfette in pink mushroom car
1 smurfette at school desk
1 world cup footballer smurf
1 Emperor smurf - gold hat/yellow crown
1 Azrael with missing bit out of ear
1 Yellow scarf sleigh smurf (spare)
1 sports swimmer
1 football playmaker
1 classic smurfette
1 studious smurf (spare)
1 fan smurfette (spare)
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

Cheers Tojo...it's always satisfying buying smurfs in person :)

Nice smurfs Steve, well worth the trip. :-D

I have never made it to the NEC (apart from Crufts :dogrun: :winks: ) so I don't really know how many smurfs are there. Haven't you been before as well? Do you think they are growing in popularity or maybe even getting less? :sherlock:

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......

I think they are getting a bit more collectable Rachel..I've been to the DJ fairs for quite a while..and although there is always one lady that has smurfs..I've noticed smurfy items at other stalls too..hopefully when the movies come out..we won't be able to move for the stuff :) Just noticed that my Emperor smurf is a Hong Kong one.
