So, I decided to upload my updated site, or at least the updated collection part of it that works. I'm pretty proud of it. Not all links work yet, and not all mouse-overs either, unless you work with Firefox in which case the mouse-overs work just fine.
The rest of the pages will be uploaded this week, and then it's just a question of keeping the site up-to-date!
oh yeah: ->

Yeah, I don't know WHAT I was thinking. Originally I was planning on photographing them from 8 or so angles and make little Flash movies where you could turn them around 360 degrees. Glad I let that idea go as soon as I did...

Hi Robin!
this is really beautiful! I love how you see a closeup of a smurf and once you click it you get a nice bigger photo which shows the back of the smurf and the front! that is a great new way to see a smurf!
and I love how you see a second or third variation! its a fun surprise!
your site makes it fun to navigate smurfs! very nice job!!

Thanks people, it was quite a bit of work, but in the end it's well worth it!
I might be playing with the places you find certain smurfs (do promo versions of existing smurfs go under their original # or under 'promos' for instance?) but all in all this is pretty much the way it's going to be.
And when I have more room & time, I'll do the supers & houses etc
.
