Really Steve ?

Geez i was getting so frustrated with him :x trying to get him to stand still so i could take the photo.

Anyone else have this problem ? :)

I think i have the same problem with my thanksgiving smurf, he always falls over :banghead:

No problems with the PERFECT Christopher Columbus though Gray :winks:

Congratulations Rae......these are nice to get since they are so popular. I know it took me a long while before I got my first ones.....I seemed to of acquired all 6 in the one week from different sellers but I know they were among the last ones I needed.....I just thought I would never get one for ages and it was a great feeling to just get one of these so I can imagine your joy to get both.......that Graham is such a nice guy.

I haven't had a problem with any of mine standing up properly....so far anyway. This week was a good week for me too regarding the Historicals, I now have every one listed in the Katalog which are the 6 Macau markings of each one and also the extra 3 Hong Kong markings of Paul Revere, Christopher Coloumbus & Benji Franky.....now....just have to wait to pay for them :(

Wahooooooo Rae

hi! great smurfs!

those look even better then I thought.. alot of painting seems to be on them...more detail

I did read somewhere that you can warm up PCV..maybe with a hairdryer or something and get them to stand up..

ask around..I'm sure there is a way...:)

Yep, I done this to about 3 smurfs of mine that wouldn't stand up. I hold the smurf in a way that I want him to stand and then apply the heat and then continue to hold it in that position for a while allowing the smurf to cool in that stance. Sometimes you need to try 2-3 times but it works for sure and can save a smurf from being an iritating lazy no good for nothing lay-about.

Of course take care with your smurf and whether this is a good thing to do to PVC I am not sure.....but maybe try it on a cheaper spare you have. I have had no problems with mine but I would hate to be responsible for damaging someone else's rare smurf.
