I use the combination of the key to the right of the 'windows' key on the bottom left hand side & 156. My keyboard's German & the key mentioned has 'Alt' on it so don't know what's on yours.

Hope that helps more than it confuses

way to straight forward instructions for me???

He means 'ALT + NUM PAD 1, 5, 6'.
Like when you do 'CTRL-A'and it selects everything, and 'ALT + F4' and the application closes, when you use the 'ALT' key with the keys of your num pad (with NUM LOCK turned ON), the combination of numbers turns into characters. In the chart below you can see 'ALT + 1, 5, 6' makes a pound sign!

(I myself usually use my Windows Character map to do these things, by the way)

Yes I better becareful Fram, thank you for reminding me....I think I was having too much of that amber medicine and started to love everybody...even the Flower smurf...well for a little while anyway. I will take the other medicine now and revert back to grumpy Dyar.
