Hi Raelene
That's great...I will have to go and find one for myself next time I am out. I still have not watched the last 3 episodes of the first one...I am more into the PVC figures than the cartoons but I would still like to see them all some time.
[Just wondering if Rach, Karen & David or managed to watch their copies with the different format or if I actually sent one of you guys the birth of Jack by accident
I am pretty sure I didn't...after all there's no such thing....I was too busy on the happy gas in the hospital to control a camera.]

Me to Dyar, it's really for my daughter.
She loves em ! Something fun to watch together. Makes a change from Finding Nemo, Care bears, Wiggles, Lion King etc. I think i know every word from those movies
I was still interested in seeing the cartoons though as i never saw them as a kid. Living in Kakadu National Park we got very limited TV shows back in the early 80's.
Our nearest BP was in Darwin 3hrs away, so PVC figures was all i had, oh and a pencil case.
So it's all new to me.

I know what you mean about knowing every word of a movie/video Raelene....Jack loves the Ghostbusters movies, Home Alone 1 & 2, Toy Story 1 & 2, a Sccoby Doo DVD among others. I really bought the smurf DVD for him but he doesn't really like it that much which is a shame.
Actually it was so sad this morning...our car is being repaired this week from when that 4WD backed into us back in December so Robyn's grandfather drove me to work today and was then taking Mrs Dyar and Jack shopping. Little Jack thought I was coming with them so when it was time for me to get out of the car upon arriving at work there were tears....he said I couldn't leave him and then wouldn't say goodbye to me since I was breaking his heart. Apparently that went on for hours after I left too so I am looking forward to going home and hanging out with him....except he probably won't wanna know me by the time I get home.....kids huh?
Dyar
PS - That sounds interesting growing up in Kakadu....I wonder what your childhood was like?

aawwww poor Jack
You should have chucked a sickie and stayed home to play with him
I have to put up with that one a month when i drop my husband at the airport, away for 2 weeks at a time. My daughters used of it now but back when she was 2 or 3 it used break my heart seeing her getting upset saying bye to Daddy
At least she's got him home all day when he's back
As for living in Kakadu it was great
Go out bush all the time camping etc. Beautiful place
We lived in a small town where everybody knows everybody, but thats good if your were a parent i guess, always knowing what your kids were up to
Did'nt get into to much trouble.
Sorry, just come back to edit this post as i just realised it was my 200th
God not bad, 200 post in just under 2 months. Bet it was all crap

No Raelene, not
all of it
Congratz on your 200th, happy dreams of Kakadu (hmmm, sounds like something Olivia Newton-John might want to sing about
).

Well, My little smurfette jumped on me until she could watch them, so we have watch the entire volume 1 at least 3 times...
I believe Karen told that she had the same problem at home and she watched it 4 times to date...
:):):)
If Karen and Rachel are up for it, I'd love to do the same for Volume 2...
If that's ok with you Dyar...
Cheers,
David

Hi David,
I have no problems with that of course....I am planning on getting mine next week so it won't hurt to pick up a few copies for everybody else.
Just need to see if Rachel or anyone else is interested in the next one as well.

No I don't mind at all Rach. I am guessing I should send them all to Karen once again as before unless there are any objections?
Okay the shopping list now contains:
eggs
milk
diet coke
4 smurf DVDs
Caramello Koalas
cereal
bread
water ballons for Syd as per usual

Dyar,
Could you send them to me this time actually? Coz I need to add a little something in Karen's parcel anyway before she gets it.
Let us know how much we owe you.
Cheers,
David

No problems David....maybe you could send payment to Karen once I get them and have posted them off....providing that's ok with Karen of course. It's no problems with the DVDs and no problems sending them to you. We can work out payment details once I get them. I am expecting they should be the same price as before for everything.

Dragon spit is much safer than dragon fire though!
Yes but put it together you get sizzling saliva....not much more appealing than cold spit but just a variation......actually one thing I could do without in the world is people spitting.....I still see it around the place and I have to say that I find it really off....I do not mind most things in the world but spitting would be one of them.

Dragon spit is much safer than dragon fire though!
This may be true, however I would like to point out that I am a distinguished dragon and that I don't spit!
Ok there was this occasion when I did set on fire some poor bod who I didn't really mean too... there was no water nearby, so well, I sort of had too...
Sizzling saliva, you say, well, definetly after eating some of these chillies we talked about (remember your thumb? Think about your mouth!!!)
Cheers
David
PS: Dyar, just let me know who and how much when you know.

You have roots and you live in the jungle... You are an Ent! My deepest respect, Bunburrubombodombombunno
(well, it was this or a cactus, we don't have an Ent emoticon for some reason
)
