Is W.B.C.O on the bottom of the smurf the West Berrie Company stamp or logo? I have two smurfs that have these and I have not seen them written in all letters before!

I am pretty sure they are Gerda or at least I have always presumed that it meant this. I didn't know that the "W" stood for "West" though so that's something I have learnt as all mine just have a "W" and not the word "West".

I am surprised at how many different markings there are of these....here's an example of some

W. Berrie & Co

and I also thought I had some smurfs that were spealt with W. Berry (with a "y" in Berrie) but I would have to check that again.

Can anyone else can confirm Gerda's question?

LOL it does too...thanks Richard. I had a feeling that West looked odd and just thought the smurfs just had a W.....but you are right they do have ones with Wallace Berrie as well....I am sure that's what Gerda meant anyway.

Thanks for setting me straight...I feel like such an idiot now for forgetting that as I have been staring at the markings non stop lately. Well I guess as far as credibility goes......no hang on, I threw that out the window a long long time ago.

As for posting your hubbies photo I'm glad you checked with him first.
I was reluctant to post the photo's from the wiggle concert.If my husband knew he'd freak. He's very private like that. He would'nt want me posting photo's of him, Kristy or myself.
But he's not here so what he does'nt know won't piss him off.
