Hi,

I want to show you some pictures from prospects and these are not in the catalogues.

As many know Schleich made a lot of new smurfs during the 80s and therefore they "released" new smurfs more than once a year. So they made these type of prospects with only the new figurines.

This is the one from 1985 with the new smurfs they started selling in autumn 1985. 8 new smurfs and 3 supersmurfs. These can not be found in the 1985 catalogue, but in the 1986 catalogue. Actually in was sold in mid 1985. Just like with many other smurfs.

Also a picture of the germandisplaybox for the historical smurfs, they also started selling in mid 1985 in Germany.

I will add more items after dinner! :-D :eat:

When Schleich after the problems in 1986 started with the new genaration smurfs, smurflings, no displaybox was possible. But these new smurfs were sold in these types of plastic can.

It had a "ribbon"?? they used in the can with drawings. articlenumber 2.0400

In 1986 catalogue you can write that they have a prospect about the new items "grussfiguren" and "kleine gratulanten".

Here are pictures of the grussfiguren-prospect from 1986 and 1987( then in the friendship gallery). These pictures are not in any catalogue.

As you see the smurfs on greetingsstand was sold with an envelope.

This is the 1986 envelope. Like a jiffybag but gets bigger when you open it.

Also the backside of the cardboard, where you could write who it was to ( für) and who send the gift ( von). To and From.

Here are the prospects for the "kleine gratulanten" cards from 1986 and 1987( also here sold in the friendship gallery).

As you see there are a displaybox for these cards. :D

Andre,
is it possible that you can send me a larger picture of the stands? Actually, if possible would love to get larger pictures of the non pvc smurf items so I can record their numbers :worship:

Thanks for posting this...I WANT that display box

and it's hard to believe they sold the smurfs like they did the smurflings all thrown together into that bin

A few more pictures.

First backside of the kleine gratulanten card. Jockline seems to have been making these. Patent pending???

These were sold in a plastic envelope together with a white envelope( without and drawings of any smurfs:( ) to send it away in.

Hi Frank,

60017 should contain figurine, Der Schlumpf.
60019 should contain the doctorsmurf.

I am not sure I have the articlenumbers for the french ones Frank?

What does it say on the back of the card?

In 1987 I think these were sold, except in german, also in french and english. In the friendship gallery. But I don´t think it was sold in the US. I think the peak in US was around 1983 before W Berrie was renamed to Applause. In 1987 I am not sure Applause introduced any new smurfitems. I am sure we would have read about them then in the SCCI letters they started with in 1986, right?? :-?

Hi Andre

Well that's a bit of trouble, it's still in package and on the backside there is an envelop so you can't see :-?
So i hoped you could tell me, because the others :-D well done those are the smurfs inside :D

The plastic cover is possible to open on the german ones, so you have the backside of the card on one side and the envelope on the other.

Is that not possible on the french ones?

I would guess that maybe another company could have made them for the french and the english market??? Jockline made the german cards.

I will see if I can find out later. Maybe Benny has any lists for these articlenumbers? I have pictures of mafi ordersheets from 1984 and 1985( from Benny), but I don´t think they are in them.
