Stefan,

that landscape among the last pictures is awesome!!! :-D

I have a question regarding some pictures in the catalogues. These are dealers catalogues, right?? Have you compared these with the booklets for the customers???

I mean are some of the parts in the catalogues only possible to get in the end of the year. Like todays catalogues where the release dates are january, may and september, but still shows in the same catalogue.

For example some of the items like Gargamels lab and Smurfettes bedroom seems to be faar from the versions they sold. And both my combiboxes number 1 and 2 have the articlenumber 40601 and 40602.
For some reason they changed this and when Gargamels lab and Smurfettes bedroom was sold they changed the numbers and gave the combisets new numbers.

Could off course have been that the combisets was released in another country the year before, but I don´t think so if you check the smurfs in the combiset.

The 2nd version is that they by mistake printed the wrong number on the boxes the first year. ??? :-? All other playsets 1 and 2 after this has a sticker over the originalnumber with correct one. When I think about it a printingmistake is actually very possible. :-?

What do you think ???

For me I would say gargamels lab and Smurfettes bedroom was sold second half of 83 or in 84. Both have moldyear 83.

Here are the combiboxes with articlenumbers 40601 and 40602.
I thought that these were released one year before Gargamels lab and Smurfettes bedroom and that they changed it when these were released 1984. But maybe this was a printerror???

At least I believe both these boxes are from 1983 after this they used the sticker over them.

And this forkliftbox must also have been sold 1982, since it was only then there was only 9 playsets. In this years catalogue 1983 the "förderband" playset 10 was released.

Hey, I saw "live" the landscape (bottom of the pic) at my cousin Xavier's home!

It was really really WONDERFUL, believe me.

I know who he had bought it from.
Then Xavier sold it (for a loooooooooooooooot of money).

I haven't compared it yet with the small collectors booklets, I have in mind they show Buildings, Geschlumpfe and Super-Geschlumpfe, but none of the Kombi-Sets.

Supergeschlumpfe have 4.0601 to 4.0604 as we know, so I guess the early Kombi-Set boxes have printing errors. But this may be one of Schleichs never solved secrets.

It could be really possible that lab and bedroom were first deliverable in second half of the ongoing year 1983, but they liked to show the dealers their smurf stuff. Who knows... ?? :-?
