Now to Lias list and the questions! :D

Regarding Papa and Grouchy I have already said what I think.

20033 and 20042, clown and chef, Lia has shown that there are variations with both Heringmarkings and Minimodelsmarkings.

Next on the list is 20051 Bowler.

Do anyone have a marked minimodels bowler?

I have one I got from Brazil with hering markings and one I got from Argentina with minimodels paint and material and erased markings.

These 2 are the same mold. So so faar this is not on the list. Off course very nice to have and there is one varaition from Brazil and one from Argentina. But it is the same mold and not used at the same time.

So I remove this from the list so faar regarding the moldmarkings. :D

Next on list: Champion.

Off course like Lia said an obvious difference in colours but still the same mold. One painted in Brazil and one in Argentina?? :o :-? :-D

Do anyone have a minimodels marked Champion?

Otherwise I remove this from the list also. Only one Schleichmold for champion? But first used by Hering and then without licence by Minimodels?

For example Papa and Grouchy molds from minimodels are smaller and definatly not molds they got from Schleich. Check pictures of some of the fakes. I put the Hering papa and grouchy beside them so you can compare.

On the other hand there seems to be unmarked minimodels which are molds they got from Schleich. See 2nd picture. Probably at the end before loosing the licence. These have the connection to Schleich.

So for me there are genuine Schleichmolds unmarked and marked. And then we have the fake molds.

I this thread I am trying to figure out about the schleichmolds, so unless anybody has a Papa and grouchy from Argentina which is a mold from Schleich, I consider them as Lia said as fakes. :D Lovely fakes but they have no connection to Schleich. See my point? :o
Andre,
I am curious, were those two (Papa and Grouchy) sold to you as Minimodels? I am asking because I have the same ones and they were sold to me as Argentinian fakes so I never considered them as Minimodels but just as lovely fakes :-?

The ones I have, have no markings so if yours do, can you post a picture of it?

I think, I finally understand your question ( as you know I can be slow)...all of my Minimodels are Schleich molds...it's just the painting that's different..but they are Schleich molds :D

The minimodels champion is unmarked.
The one, you show, is clearly an example of a Hering, painted as minimodels

Hi Maureen,

I bought them as unmarked argentinian fakes so I knew what I was getting. :D And I like them also, maybe not as much as Lia loves the fakes but they also have a part in the smurf PVC history! :-D

The thing I mean with this is if we consider the telephone as both Hering and Minimodels, why not the Surfer also?

Thanks Lia!

Do you consider the champion as a fake or repaint to look like minimodels? Or do you think minimodels got the championmold from Hering also?

André, I consider the unmarked minimodels absolutely as Minimodels!!

Hering smurfs have always markings, erased or striped or whatever, but I never saw a Hering that is completely smooth.

That´s what I wanted to know.

So clown and chef can be found with both markings.

And champion, phone and Cowboy with heringmarkings and unmarked minimodels?

Is that correct?
