I bought this squeaky papa from a stall at a bootfair we went to a week ago for only 10p and Jack just loves it :-D.
I don't really know anything about the squeaky toys released so if anyone can tell me a bit about it or indeed any others I would love to know.

The markings on the bottom read:
COMBEX, MADE IN ENGLAND
PEYO INTERNATIONAL BENZOLE CO.LTD.
4710/R

I had to post this cos within minutes of me taking papa's picture Jack has reclaimed him and has figured that he can make it squeak better if he tries to eat him........ :) :shock: :)

I love that pic of Jack eating papa! :) Dyar has the same papa on his site but since he's sick right now, who knows if or when he'll see this post? I know nothing about the him except that he's cute (the papa, not Dyar!) :)

Anyway....here's a link to my page on the Squeak Toys. I have this one as well as an unpainted one. I don't know how many there are but there seems to be quite a few companies that made these type of smurfs. The one you got Steve (ahem...I meant little Jack) is a really nice one though.
